Since 1997, Ndani Interiors has been creating stylish, practical interiors that are comfortable, personal and made to last.
Every interior begins with the people who will experience it. A home should feel unmistakably yours. A hotel or lodge should become part of a guest’s memory of their stay. A commercial space should work naturally for the people inside it while reflecting the business behind it.

The aim is to create more than a beautiful interior.
Ndani wants a space to feel right when you walk into it, when you spend hours in it, and when you return to it again and again.
In a home, that can mean creating somewhere that feels deeply personal to the people living there. In a hotel or lodge, it can mean creating comfort, calm, excitement or escape for the guest. In a commercial interior, it can mean creating an environment that people enjoy being in while still serving the way the space needs to work.
The best interiors do not only make a strong first impression. They continue to feel good long after that first moment has passed.
Our Approach
Ndani starts with what the client imagines the space could become and works to take that idea further.
The interior is considered as a complete experience. How it looks matters, but so does how it feels to sit in, move through and live with.
The way the room changes through the day matters too. Natural light in the morning. The atmosphere when the sun goes down. The warmth of the lighting at night. The feeling of returning to the same room months or years later and still enjoying being there.
Ndani works to create that consistency throughout the interior so the space does not only impress for a moment. It continues to work, feel comfortable and hold its character over time.
Materials & Making
The feeling of an interior comes from hundreds of individual decisions.
The comfort and weight of the furniture. The quality of the fabrics. The materials you touch. The lighting. The artwork. The texture of a wall. The details you may not notice individually, but would notice immediately if they were wrong.
Ndani gives those details the same attention as the larger interior.
And when the right piece does not already exist, it can be created specifically for the space. Furniture, lighting, fabrics and other elements can be designed so that they belong to the interior rather than simply filling it.
Ndani works with East African artisans and professionals, bringing together local knowledge, craftsmanship and skill to help realise these ideas properly.
African Influence
Ndani draws on multicultural and international design experience together with modern and African colour, texture, craft and cultural influences.
Those influences are not treated as decoration added to a finished room. They can become part of the character of the interior itself.
For someone whose own life brings different cultures together, the interior can reflect that naturally. For a hotel or lodge, the history, setting and culture around the property can become part of what makes staying there memorable.
